Who We Are

“Beyond Aspiration” was founded and is led by Nick Kohn to deliver low cost brand growth solutions.

Nick Kohn is a business leader, brand expert and change-maker who has been delivering growth for businesses and brands in the commercial and non-profit sector for more than 3 decades.

He created “Beyond Aspiration” to help businesses affordably revitalise their brands and non-profit organisations deliver their objectives by linking their activities.

Nick's approach often includes the use of disruptive marketing that builds on the foundational truth of the brand.

Nick built his career as a General Manager, Entrepreneur and subsequently as an Advisor in the FMCG personal care sector, building businesses and brands such as Old Spice, Insignia, Aramis and Pierre Cardin with international companies such as Shulton, Procter and Gamble, Mennen, L’Oréal, and Estée Lauder before going onto run his own business team in the acquisition and disposal of brands from Unilever.

Over the last 5 years he has successfully led business-building and funding initiatives and retail partnerships in the non-profit and disability sectors with charities such as the Queen Elizabeth Foundation, Disabled Living Foundation and Community Network.

Nick bases his work on the highly practical concepts put forward by Viktor E. Frankl, the renowned 20th century Viennese neurologist and psychiatrist who defined Logotherapy in his internationally acclaimed book “Man's Search for Meaning”.

Nick strongly believes in and tries to use the powerful ideas of Logotherapy in building programmes, brands and partnerships.  These ideas often challenge conventional truths, and help leaders and their teams deliver and develop valuable programmes which can enhance the meaning of everyday lives of all concerned including consumers.

It so happens that Nick is also a relative of Viktor Frankl.
